SONGS of FAITH and TESTIMONY
I once heard a sermon about Barnabas whose name means "Son of Encouragement," and the question was asked, "Are you a balcony person or a basement person?" I knew who I was and who I wanted to be. I wanted to be that Barnabas person in the balcony caring enough to pay attention and applaud and lift others up. I did not want to be that person in the basement, the one dragging others down with negativity and criticism.
And now, dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts on what is true,
and honorable, and right, and pure, and lovely, and admirable.
Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise. Philippians 4:18

I grew up in a home without God, where my unbelieving dad dominated and my mother suffered severe depression. I grew up knowing something was wrong, but didn't understand what the root of the problem was. Then, as a young adult, I learned about and accepted Jesus as my Lord and Savior. God began a wonderful work in me. It continues today and it is my heart's desire to share what God has done for me.
But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus--the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God. Acts 20:24
My music ministry consists of sharing my testimony through song and story. Here are some of the songs I sing:

MINISTRY of SUPPORT
Another calling I have is to serve girls and women who have been victims and are survivors of sex trafficking. I work to raise financial support for faith-based organizations that rescue minor girls from sex trafficking and who work to restore their lives.
"Suppose one of you has a hundred sheep and loses one of them.
Doesn't he leave the ninety-nine in the open country
and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?" Luke 15:4

and go after the lost sheep until he finds it?" Luke 15:4
My aim is to create awareness of the truth regarding commercial sex; to provide information about organizations that rescue victims and support survivors of sex trafficking; and to motivate an active response on the part of the listener to help in whatever way, large or small.
"From everyone who has been given much, much will be demanded;
and from the one who has been entrusted with much, much more will be asked." Luke 12:48

God has blessed me with much. He gave me a heart for this ministry and he gave me the talents of singing and songwriting. The songs I write have a message and when I sing them, I'm given a platform from which to share that message with a great number of people. The songs that make up my album LOVERS, WIVES & MOTHERS: A WESTERN WOMAN'S VOICE serve as conversation starters about issues close to a woman's heart.
"Pure and genuine religion in the sight of God the Father means caring for orphans and widows in their distress and refusing to let the world corrupt you." James 1:27
I have pledged all profits from the sale of my LOVERS, WIVES & MOTHERS album, coffee mugs and note cards, to faith-based organizations such as Traffic Refuge in Lincoln, MT www.trafficrefuge.org and Sarah's Home in Colorado Springs, CO. www.sarahshome.us
I am available for benefit concerts to raise money. Please go to my CONTACT PAGE for bookings. Thank you.
